5 Ways to Boost Member Engagement

Tuesday, October 26, 2021 - 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
The key to running a successful loyalty program is keeping members engaged. Learn how promotion overlays such as sweepstakes, trivia, contests and social kickbacks have been used by leading brands such as Hilton, Victoria Secret, Redbox and Johnson & Johnson to amplify their existing program to engage members and achieve multiple objectives, including sales, acquisition, education, advocacy and point burn.

Key Takeaways
  • Strengthen Emotional Connections: Augment transaction-based programs with enhancements that also drive brand affinity to create deeper relationships with your members.
  • Increase Program Value: Rather than simply giving away “more stuff,” increase both member and brand value by offering more ways to engage with your loyalty program.
  • Manage Financial Liability: Offer members cost-efficient rewards, as well as chance-to-win promotions, to encourage point burn and reward redemption.
  • Deepen Member Insights: Gather insights on your most loyal customers to improve targeting and develop models to reach look-a-likes
